How to Make Sourdough Bread Saturday- April 6th 1pm - 4pm

Attendants learned the basics of the art of cheesemaking. Attendees made fromagé blanc and mozzarella to take home.

Cast Iron Cooking

We showed how to clean, restore, season, and maintain cast-iron cookware. We dispeled long held myths about cast iron cooking. Attendees learn edthe ins and outs of versatile cooking in cast iron in Food4Hope’s cast-iron cooking workshop, including recipes for thick cut steaks, biscuits, bread and cobbler!

Foods from Around the World series: Italian Cuisine

Participants learned to make, eat, enjoy, and take some home. They learned how to properly cook pasta, how to choose an olive oil, what makes true Italian cuisine and more! Hands-on! Ravioli, meatballs, polenta, ricotta ciambelle. Mangia!

How To Make The Perfect Pie:February Workshop

Pie making is becoming a lost art and we are doing what we can to preserve it! Participants learned recipes, tips and tricks while making, baking, and taking home their own pie. Healing with Herbs Workshop

Our first workshop was Healing with Herbs, held on Saturday, January 28th, and the April 1st.  This was an interactive, hands-on workshop.  Participants learned how to extract the medicinal properties of herbs and make their own tinctures. Filled their medicine cabinet with the good things from God’s creation.
